The Celebration Bonfire

A guided experience for us to hoot, holler, and exclaim: “Hallelujah and more of this, please!”

Park the car of your mind. Turn off the headlights. Lock the doors and take off your shoes. Feel the asphalt giving way to sand beneath your feet, filling the spaces between your toes. Smell the bonfire before you see the smoke wafting up into the sky. Exhale a bit deeper. Drop your shoulders. Relax just a bit more.

You made it this far. Hallelujah! The time is ripe to celebrate together!

Why celebrate?

Most of us who love our work and being of service to others have a nasty little habit of not taking our foot off the gas. It’s full steam ahead for us!

Problem is, if we don’t acknowledge what we’ve been through, done, or already conjured up into being, it’s almost like it didn’t happen.

If we never pause to pay our respects to this moment, it cuts us off from being able to pick up the “nugget” and make us wiser, more grounded, unflappable travelers in the future.

If we don’t acknowledge the people around us, they may assume we don’t notice how much care and support they have given us.

But really?

We stop and celebrate because it signals “more of this, please!” to the world around us, and that we deeply appreciate, trust, and value ourselves, our relationships, and Life herself.

# 1 CHOPPING WOOD

Friday, July 9th
11 am-12 pm Eastern

Rebecca and Stella open the experience with a conversation to get you in the hallelujah zone. We’ll talk about how celebrating now will give you even more to celebrate in the future. We’ll talk about what we’re celebrating. And we’ll give you several options for taking stock of your celebration-worthy accomplishments, relationships, milestones, and moments.

As many of us are noticing that the personal and the professional are intertwined, the great news is that yes, it’s all welcome here – we will celebrate it all!

This will be part teaching, part conversation, with the goal of setting you up to take a bit of time over the weekend to make a list of celebrations.

(Yes, this session will be recorded.)

# 2 CELEBRATION BONFIRE

Monday, July 12th
1 pm-2:30 pm Eastern

Bring your list of what’s ripe to celebrate to this gathering. Because there is magic in celebrating in the company of others, we’ll be holding space for everyone who is called to speak their celebrations – of themselves, of others – into the space between us all. Hallelujah! Won’t that feel energizing and fabulous? There’s something that happens when we say our celebrations out loud – the reverberations radiate out from us and affect the people around us, whether they hear us or not. No pressure though – if you just want to listen, that’s fine, too.

(This session will not be recorded.)

# 3 COMMEMORATION 101

Friday, July 16th
11 am-12 pm Eastern

At this salon-style gathering, Rebecca and Stella will talk about the power of commemoration, a funny word that we don’t use much in everyday life that means “to officially give respect for something.” We’ll talk about how to do a private ritual in your home, backyard, or neighborhood to mark the moment and whatever you are celebrating. Calling on symbols, metaphors, and our imaginations, we’ll give you some examples of what a commemoration could look like to spark your own act of commemoration. You’ll have two weeks to perform your commemoration on your own.

(Yes, this session will be recorded.)

#4 DAWN

Friday, July 30th
11 am-12 pm Eastern

As the sun begins to rise and our bonfire dies down, we’ll come back to notice and unpack what you did and how it went. What came up for you? What is here for you now that wasn’t there several weeks ago when we first gathered to celebrate? What are you taking with you on the road ahead?

(This session will not be recorded.)

Can’t make a live gathering? We do things a bit differently around here. We value showing up, so we have set up our events in real time. That said, we know schedules and time zones don’t always line up. So if you want to be in cahoots, but can’t make a live gathering, well send along a recording. Note: due to the nature of what we are doing together, not all sessions will be recorded.
