Rebecca:
My brain is, I admit, a little unusual.
Truth is, all the best ones are 😉
By which I mean to say that all of our brains – each and every one – are unique and unusual in all their own glories and complexities.
One of the things that I am fascinated by in this world is the uniqueness of our brains, our ways of seeing, of hearing, of learning…of processing, thinking, and of DO-ing.
I strive to understand my own Ways as I also strive to understand the Ways of those around me.
In doing so, I’ve had the benefit and the delight of surrounding myself – purposefully – with folks whose brains are different from my own with the idea that in this way, when we work together, we are able to see better, hear better, learn better, process better, think better, and, ultimately, DO better.
Which brings me to why I like to work with Sarah Dew Whitsett.
I’m going to let her tell you a bit about how her brain functions, and how she goes about the Do-ing in her own world (and in ours)!
Sarah:
I sometimes giggle to myself that I ended up with the middle name Dew. It’s pretty amusing because the way my brain works is to figure out what the right thing is to DO and then DO it. In the most simple and elegant way possible. It’s just how I work. I have the ability to see clearly through other people’s confusion.
So, you will be hard pressed to find me at a creative writing seminar but, if you want to actually get that project done by a certain date and with a specific objective? I am your girl and we will probably get it done ahead of schedule AND you will have a good time while you do it.
Or as one of our recent clients had, a huge pile of things that needed to get done in her business and in her home. It had all become twisted and tangled together and she couldn’t figure out what to do and it was draining her. One call with me and we sorted it all out.
FREEDOM!
I know that sounds nuts and a bit like overpromising. But ask anyone who knows me. It’s not.
Weirdly enough, I have the ability to turn what for some are the most confusing and tedious of tasks into an enjoyable experience. Because I love this stuff. It makes me so happy to see an intentionally executed plan come to fruition. And if you have been around here long enough you may have seen me shouting for glee because a project came in early, under budget, and exceeded our expectations. I LOVE THAT SO MUCH.
Stella:
Before Sarah went into business for herself, she was a nurse practitioner.
This is important because it clues us in to how she serves the rest of us.
If you want to get a project done, but find that you are spinning in circles in your head, Sarah can help you boil it down into a simple step-by-step action plan.
Here are some things that our clients call on Sarah for support with:
· Getting their marketing strategy organized, streamlined and all in one place
· Making a plan to reach out and ask for referrals
· Assessing their expenses and finding places to save money
· Making a list of actions to take to connect with more prospective clients (online and offline)
It’s $650 for this session. The way I’d think about it is: “It is reasonable to believe I could make my money back on this, if I took action and got it out there?”
