Dear Reader,
As a practicing intuitive, it’s kinda my jam (and my job!) to keep my fingers on the pulse of the Energies afoot in fields of my clients (with their permission, of course), and also that within the Collective at Large. And friends, I am just going to say it: It has been a most unusual autumn season so far!
I’ve been serving clients for well over 20 years now and typically, August is a busy month around here – people gearing up for September, which is the “New Year” for all of us who track our lives based on the school year even though it’s been years since we’ve been in that system ourselves!
But this year was vastly different. And not just for us here at Las Peregrinas but for many of our clients, too.
Email campaigns went out and launches were launched and event halls were booked and desires were stated clearly to the Universe and yet — August and early September were quiet. Like “sound of crickets” quiet. It was mighty strange.
A client asked me about it, and I said, affirmatively, “Oh yes, this quiet will lift by the autumnal equinox,” and I was sure of it.
Two days prior to the equinox, another client reflected, “I know you said things were going to pick up by the equinox but that’s just a couple days away and man, it’s really, really quiet around here still. ARE YOU SURE it’s going to shift??”
I held tight to my belief that it was, indeed, going to shift even though, in full transparency, I was beginning to have doubts of my own!
But then…KABOOM!
It was like the floodgates opened!
Texts from clients to confirm that suddenly they’d welcomed 3 new clients into their practices – in one day – or that the event to which they hadn’t sold a single ticket sold out in one afternoon. People’s calendars filling with sales calls and networking events and all the gorgeous opportunities that I fully recognize as September Stuff but…just a tad later than usual, prompting me to declare that October is the New September.
At least for this year 😉
And so, if you, too, experienced an unusually quiet time in August and September this year, you’re not alone. But the tide has shifted, and folks are showing up with all the yummy goodness we expect in the Autumnal New Year, and we here are toasting their arrival.
