Dear Reader,
It. Has. Been. A. Year.
And at this time traditionally focused on gift-giving, I find myself instead deep in contemplation of all that I have received and wanting to extend my deepest thanks to each of you.
For the opportunity to bear witness to unimaginable grief,
For the late-night text exclaiming, “They accepted my proposal!!!!!!!!!!”
For the words “Thank you. I love you.”
For the opportunity to show up and serve,
For the shared joke,
For bringing tears to my own eyes.
For making my heart leap, my thoughts dance, my soul sing,
For allowing me to watch as you took up more space, found your voice, spoke your truth,
For your vulnerability, authenticity, and heart-pounding, revelatory, revolutionary growth.
For the hard conversations and the stuff beneath your words,
For the way you lean in, step out, and rise up,
For the sheer joy of cheering you on as we Journey Together,
I give my heart-felt thanks.
Thank you for making this year Magical in every possible way. It’s been a joy – and an honour — to share this journey with you.
